Classes
Akasha Yoga offers over 90 yoga and fitness classes each week across our two Yolo County studio locations. We welcome all levels—from complete beginners to experienced practitioners—with a variety of classes including Hot Vinyasa Yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates, Yin Yoga, Strength + Sculpt, and more.
At Akasha Yoga, the focus is not on perfection or comparison—it’s about connecting with yourself through movement and breath. We encourage students to move mindfully, honor their bodies, take rest when needed, and enjoy the journey of becoming stronger both physically and mentally. Every class is designed to be approachable and adaptable for newer students, while still offering plenty of challenge and intensity for seasoned athletes and experienced practitioners.

Hot Vinyasa
Hot Vinyasa is a dynamic, breath-driven flow designed to build strength, flexibility, and focus from the inside out. Set in a heated room, you’ll move continuously through creative sequences that challenge your balance, endurance, and mind-body connection. Expect energizing movement, deep stretches, and that incredible post-class glow!
Hot Pilates
Hot Pilates is a high-intensity, low-impact full-body workout performed in a heated room to upbeat music. Using Pilates principles and interval training, this class combines cardio and strength exercises to improve endurance, build lean muscle, and torch calories—all while being easy on the joints. Expect to sweat, shake & leave feeling stronger than ever!
Strength+Sculpt
Strength + Sculpt blends functional strength training with sculpting exercises to tone and define your entire body. You’ll move through targeted sets using weights and bodyweight, with an emphasis on slow, controlled movements that deliver serious results. Expect a strong burn, great music, and that post-class “I feel powerful” energy!
Strength+Flow
A dynamic Vinyasa Yoga style class that blends breath-led movement with light weights to build strength, stability and endurance. Expect flowing sequences, intentional resistance work and a balanced mix of challenge and control. This class is designed to help you tone, sweat and move with purpose while keeping the steady rhythm and mindful feel of a flow practice.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice focused on deep stretching and relaxation. Poses are held for longer periods to gently target the connective tissues, improve flexibility, and calm the nervous system. Expect a peaceful atmosphere, deep release, and a chance to truly slow down and reset both body and mind.
